Ok, I know this question has been asked alot online, and I know what the answer is, but I just cant help hopeing there IS some new NEWS about the possibilities that this awsome game will someday make it to an emulator. I have played this game before at a persons house who bought the freakin Coin-OP for the SNK64 or whatever. He bought it just for both the 3D SS's. At first I thought it was a bad game, but after a few bouts I changed my mind. Its preety much a totally dif game that just happens to have SS chars in it, which is better than what I had originally wanted.
Look at street fighter EX(the 3D one). Its no diferent from the regular ones in play style, its still a 2D game with 3D grafix. Whats the point in that? THe SS64 games are really fun, alot like soul calibur/tekken. Tekken becuase some of the chars use hand to hand combos and only pull out their weapon sometimes(like Hanzo and Kazuki). Oh bust Hanzo is like King from tekken, he has multi-throws. You know how his finishing move in SS5 special looks like with the black and white X-Rays? That first appered in this game.
I really only got to mess around with it for about 5 to 6 matches before someone decided they wanted to change games... to Last Blade....... I'm sure for you purest out there, this game might suck. But for me, lover of 3D games and SS characters, I loved it. But there is no way I am paying $800 just for these games.

I never had the chance to play any of those 3d samsho released on hng64 (not talking about the lame psx wor2 game) but I saw some vids before (mostly ss64-2) and the whole ambience and atmosphere struck me so hard it gave me the chill (sound is outstanding, especially the sword clashes). I can't talk about anything related to gameplay because I havent play neither yet, but i'm dying to try it someday. About the emulation status, ss64-2 rom have been dumped, preliminary drivers are in mame but it isn't emulated properly yet (freeze at the boot sequence). Last time I checked, they were mostly making progress on bukiri one and fatal fury wild ambition (2 other games on that system) and several graphic were showing up. Let's wait (and pray) for now. About the real motherboard, I heard vektorlogic ltd have some cheap deal on brand new hng64 motherboard + both samsho (under 200-300$). Give me a ring if you get one
