Some Basic Stuff
Combos
f+C,DF+C (not sure if this combos but people who try to block second hit are usually just holding back so DF+C hits) f+C,B D+AB,hcf+slash (its really just db~f motion but its simplier saying hcf)
Pokes
B D+B
Anti-air
D+AB, if you land it go for the hcf+slash aswell
hcf,uf+slash this is just basic hacf+slash but amkes you diagonally up. This is also a great crossup move for wake ups. Also hcf,uf,u+slash works aswell.
While in the air C works pretty well, if you don't feel confident in the air go for f,d,df+slash, and come out of it with hcf+slash when they have landed.
Cancels
Here I will describe his useful cancels
D+AB,hcf+slash, good follow up anti-air.
AB,hcf+slash pretty good move to catch people off guard they will think you are going for usual AB and prob jump and land on you, ouch for them. Can be punished as you are left hanging if you mistime it.
B+C,hcf+slash. Only works for sszsp, not regular ssz. Pretty good anti-air.
B+C,qcf+CD Only works for sszsp. Great way to unless your qcf+CD. Takes ppl by susprise as they think you gotta be up in the air to pull that move.
F,f+B,hcf+slash. Normally I would just go for the overhead but canceling into hcf+slash is pretty good.
You can also pull all these cancels with C as well as any other special
qcb+slash is is only really good on f,f+B as with AB, and C you aren’t up hig enough to catch em.
F,d,df+slash is good cancel with to mix it up. If they hit it will leave em open to an AB when you come out the sphere, to do this easily just press and hold D you will come out straight into an AB.
Wall jumps
Jumping back and off the wall is a good escape, but you can really mess up your opponent as well with it.
After wall jump come out with a hcf+slash or qcb+slash or b,d,db+slash this will stop em jumping up after you.
You can do a f,d,df+slash to stall in the air and jump out even higher and anyone of your specials.
Tactics.
I will nearly always start with a df+C if I think the opponent is going to stand there or hop back or something, puts em on the floor , followed by hcf,uf+slash cross up.
When on the run or trying to run out clock use wall tactics, using qcb+slash after up high you can get all the way to other side of the screen.
Try jumping back and giving out a b,d,db+AB when an opponent tries dashing from away, or if you feel like you can do it, dash at them, and cancel overhead B in qcb+slash or b,d,db+slash.
I will add more on tactics later, hope I this info isn’t total crap and will help someone playing Suija to get to grips with the basics
