What would be the next game that is going to be added on this new tournamnet for Evo2k in the year, 2006?

Will it be possible that "Samurai Shodown"will be added on a new tournament list for the year of 2006 at Evo2k, if Sammy makes another greatest in a new version of the game (Atomiwave)?[/color]

P.S... Here is an example of so-called, "a recent SamshoIV combo vid" from [www.AkumaCombos.com] which seems very disrespecful to the greatest of Samurai Shodown IV. I couldn't stop laughing throughout watching the whole clip.

This dude have turned "SamshoIV" into a madness as some kinda "Turtle Species" look alike,or a unexplainable video that is recently being posted this year, 2005.

Van!, I know you've been through a similar situation(but, not quiet the same) in the very past. As we all support, your video makes sense at least, and also it is always good to watch that have been improved dramatically, time to time. I also hope to see a final version if there will be another made anytime soon.

yo everyone. This is Moonruler from Akumacombos. Not here to pick a fight or anything, but just to respond to p100q.

Let's see where to begin......

Van's work is obviously awesome. The beginning does serve a purpose, being instructional, but can be found in any guide. props to him for putting them in vid and showing what most guides fail to explain things that can only be explained by display.

He had alot more short combos than me and many better. I could have included many more combos, but didn't, cause I tend to get bored watching a single combo vid that is way too long and didn't want to do that to others. With the acception of few, I can do just about all of those combos or different variations of them.
When u compare the two vids minus the instructional part (which I didn't make for instruction), the combos are similar as far as the methods to do them are concerned, but are different combos. Why? Because before I did those combos, I contacted Van (found him on the SamuraiShowdown Forever site) about 6 months ago, I think, to ask him how he did certain things and he was very helpful and explained many things. So when u say my stuff is nuts and his are great, ur also insulting his work as well, since I learned from him. I made sure to watch the second part of his vid (non instructional part) and mine several times before making the previous statement. AND A CHILD CAN SEE THRU UR PATHETIC ATTEMPT TO COVER UP UR INSULT, WHICH U ALSO NOTICED AS WELL :"Van!, I know you've been through a similar situation(but, not quiet the same) in the very past. When ur talking about "CD Combo=>Stop[45fps], Look Around=>CD Combo=>A+B+C) I don't know what the ABC part it, but I think ur refering
to Kazuki, Amakusa and Nakaruru I think. Those were not suppose to be in there. They were only meant to show my friend how they were done. But, he liked them enough to leave them in there. Nothing I can do about that, since I can't record my recinputs (none of the recorders worked good, always skipped and anything I did to change it didn't work ).

MVC? wouldn't know, never played it much and don't care for it and don't know much about SF games as well. So that's all blah, blah, blah to me.

Of course I know that the numbers don't count. But, as indicated above, the infinites were not suppose to be in there, but were left there anyway. And who the F*** gives a nuts about scores? I play it cause I like it.

I'm sure when u use the word "Madness", ur refering to the vid description. hahahahahahaah. I didn't even write any of that. I just sent it to the admin and he's the one that uploaded and posted the description. But, no need to get in to that Subject/Him now!!!

A few parting words, If ur THAT KNOWLEDGEABLE about the game, make a vid and we'll see. And IF deserving, I'll give mad props myself. And next time HAVE THE FU***** BALLS! To post ur opinion on our forums as well, just as I'm doing here.

Let's start with the important. I didn't say that Van was part of the project. I said that he thought me how to things. Don't try to put words in my mouth!!! Other than that, I am very glad that we have a new member here. Upon any request, I'd like to even delete any of this if you want me to. But I am glad that we have another cool member who enjoys the game for fun. That's a good spirit.

I am still writing a article on the history of 2D fighter which is also related to SF [CAPCOM] series. This will be posted on Amakucombos.com later on. I can't assume how old you are, but I've probably played SF for more than a decade ever since. A part of the article will also include the credit of what SF has been accomplished over all the 2D-fighter.

The article is to give a source to all the 2D fighter not just in general, but also source-related facts to be more specific. I assumed that is the only way to understand what Samsho has been also dedicated to a part of 2D-Fighter as well.

If you do not know Samsho at all (as you mentioned before in your forum), I think you still sounds like Capcomers. I can't help you to learn better, but at least, you can understand what you are missing.

At Amakusacombos, the point was never to be discussed about what is better between CAPCOM to SNK, or SF series to Samsho. It was a discussion within a broad range, but not limited to a detail in one game. If you know the game, there is a difference. In other words, you can not just expect what you like about SF series from Samsho in a comparison. It is totally different, but if you are really an exepert in 2D-Fighter in general, you would've understood the point of view.

It was meant to be a simple Poll & Link, but people brought a new topic into a post what's under the title, "Samurai Shodown IV" and first word was about "a pile of s h i t" that is Samsho4. I have no clue why it was so neccesarry when you talk of a civl or what not. There is nothing more than a poll and a few sentences of welcoming to visit to our website at first hand. But one after another, I've seen Mandess Vol 1 & 2 and Ego Vol2 plus...list goes on. "I am not allowed to say, "Samsho4 is a pile of s h i t!" in my own post that is about visiting to Samsho4 community. I still have no clue!

Throughout the comments to answer that new topic that was brought in by whoever, there is a difference between SNK to CAPCOM. Once again, as I was trying to make a point of view in Samsho which is a part of SNK, I expected that you guys or you would know a bit about it. Giving no excuse for not knowing at all, can not be considered to make a point of view on something that is misunderstanding of yours, unless you asked for a reason of why if it is so important to point out that SF is better above all. That, however, will be never a reason to make a topic about it in my opinion. It was meant to be a poll & Link.

For somehow, I've started with a big credit of CAPCOM games. And most of them are about CAPCOM how good it is, except a pharse of "not to prefer some of CAPCOM", and "SS2 is less weapon-based" game compared to SS4 in a whole view in my opinion.

I said, "I do know, and nobody shoud argue about the original fighter that still continues to go on for another decade", then added, just one comment about not preferring to play MVC or some of those CAPCOM games. That doesn't mean those games sucks. I was only giving a credit on Samsho, and for me, it was more to Samsho4 rather than other series of Samsho that you have still no clue about. How did you find a connection between these in your own way? If you are not a noob, that's when you come in and ask for why. There goes a discussion to share ideas between what you like, and what people like me do not like about. It doesn't have to end up saying, like one sucks and others cool. Go read a topic again, and go read who is other j/k tried to be fool. That's on you, but not me.

Furthermore, I also gave more credits that lists goes on and on (while you are giving nothing, but --keep saying like, "I think I know how to play SF")

I am sorry to give you a hard time of understanding, and furthermore, if there is any part of that you would like to add for any reason, I'd be glad to discuss that as long as any of you guys can provide some details upon some knowledge of 2D fighter, but not just something that you know how to play in SF series (cuz everyone does that you assumed wrong as if I don't) I believe that I already gave a big credit to SF3strike, but at the same time, it is so stupid to compare between SF2 to SF3rdStrike or SFA. Everyone knows not all SF games are the best, otherwise, it doen't make any sense that many people are also playing some in SNK or others. You assumed that what you like the most in SF series is something that I am discussing. Why would I care so much about one game in CAPCOM when I am trying to discuss about a general aspect in 2D fighter? I was only trying to give a creidt in a brief way on the behalf of Samsho4, upon the general aspective of 2D-fighter, and plus-, I already gave enough creidts to make you guys happy (cuz I know how to handle scrubbers[AKA S.N.K=Special Noob Killer], so no more asking of baby-sitting here in our forum please. Once again, I do not prefer playing MVC for many reason, but that reason do not apply to why many or some people do like to play MVC. As I mentioned so many times, that the game is very entertaining, (when you say "a pile of s h i t" I said, "respect" over and over) and I added, "CAPCOM game are still the legendary that nobody should argue for no matter what it is.., etc." You don't sound so happy about it, unless I say, "Samsho4 sucks." Why would I do that, especially in this forum which exists for Samsho4? You don't try to give any credit, cuz you either can't (never played) , or do not care. That's fine. Noobing is worse than scrubbing. Vote for yourself to find out which part that fits your characteristic when you go back to the state of CAPCOM where you came from. This thread is pointless, I don't even feel like getting involved. I don't know what p100q been up to at akumacombos board but don't assume that his vision about fighting games represent what other peoples think here, and I can't say I approve the way he behaved about your vid neither. About your pm, yes I remember you moonruler. Welcome to this humble place and make sure to introduce yourself in the netplay discussion thread if you want some matches going on, altought I question the playablility of network games between America and Turkey (maybe you can find a few challenge from Europe). About your vid, I think p100q was referring to the fact that many of your combo would'nt have connected if your opponent was guarding. It's a well know fact that in ss4, the hit detection is really messed up, so the combo counter sometime keep rising even if your opponent could have blocked (and also, the hardest combos aren't done by repeating the 14 hitter or by using the continuous slashes). Next time you do a vid, make sure your opponent is guarding (for example, bust galford repeated punch can only be chained at the back of your opponent, but not in front like you did in your video). They are other fundamental notions that you need to be aware to really push the game engine to it's limit, and which goes far beyong the few recommendations I once gave you for your own video. But we all have to start somewhere. In the end, keep doing what you like to do, people can only improve.

You know, I wasn't actually going to get into this issue on this forum since, at the end of the day, it's just getting childish, but I love how p100q still hasn't grown a 'set' and referred to me in one of his posts on this forum the same way he slagged off Moonruler's video here too (e.g. like a chicken).

Firstly, p100q - don't even bother posting your "article on the history of 2d fighters" on akumacombos since, quite frankly, your not welcome there - also the fact that you have proven time and time again that you know very little about fighters outside of SS4 means we wouldn't want to read it anyway (especially when you constantly butcher the Queen's English to the point you barely make sense at times).

Oh, and just so you know, SF2 was released in '91, and Third Strike was '99 (yes, the game was around long before Evo2k4 and that Daigo video) - just a little correction for you.

Secondly, I think you guys on this forum have the right to know what p100q has been doing to "promote" your forum, and i'll do it briefly since this issue has already gotten past the point of stupidity:

- He comes to akumacombos and promoted the match video clip and your forum, with a poll about what's your favourite SS game - fair enough, no harm done there.

- Akuma (who doesn't play much SS to begin with) voiced his opinion that SS2 was the best for him - again, no harm done.

- Myself (who used to play SS competitivly back in the day), I posted that SS2 was the best *for me*, and I also pointed out that SS0 and Special were missing from his poll, once again, no harm done.

- Now this is where it starts to get messy, p100q apparently takes great offense that no-one else at that point had said SS4 was their favourite - so he starts talking down to, literally, everyone on the forum as if they were beneath him. This is also where it gets funny since he proclaimed "turtling isn't a skill" and other assorted cheese (about how SS0 was 'easy' - oh look, a CPU player, that means a lot right there) that I would copy and paste here but can't because akumacombos bandwidth is up right now.

- I post that I couldn't take him seriously because he come out with such dumb stuff like "turtling isn't a skill".

- Once again, he whines and crys like a little girl because I didn't share his opinion (and even name checked Mike Tyson in there), trying to talk down to me and called everyone at akumacombos "Capcomers" (wtf) which was amusing since most people play SNK games there. He generally made a public moron out of himself and (since he was pretty much representing you guys) out of your forum, but on the bright side, he also came out with immortal sentence of "your all console mania who plays with their cousins" which, quite frankly, was one of the funniest sentences i've ever read outside of GameFAQ's.

- I basically called him (p100q) a "Kaillera scrub" (which he is) who should stop whining about how other fighters are played (while giving him a brief rundown of how Capcom's main games should be played) and learn how to actually play to win himself (in other words, not whinging about stuff like turtling, fireball spamming and infinite combos, which he seems to do quite a lot of). I will also admit at this point that I did call all the people on this forum 'scrubs' from which i'm going to apologise for right now, you guys actually seem pretty cool, didn't deserve that and just shows that next time one prat from another forum makes a fool out of himself, that I shouldn't assume that everyone else from the forum he is trying to represent is like that also, so again, i'm sorry for that.

- Eventually he actually posted somewhat respectfully (even though he did say its not about "playing to win" - I dunno about you guys, but I sure don't play to lose, lol), even if it was long winded, and asked me to give reasons why I think SS4 is trash - fair enough.

- I respond politely back saying I will do just that since he actually started to act civil. I was planning to post a few hours later with a big discussion on SS in general, covering everything from the first game, the last game, and more importantly for p100q, why I don't like SS4, however...

- He actually *edited* his previous, respectful, post to be a moron again, a bizarre way to do things but, whatever - I edited my own post to say I would have nothing more to do with him since, quite frankly, he wasn't worth my time.

Now it's started up again that i'm posting on this issue, only this time on someone elses forum and quite frankly i'm tired of it - p100q, I showed a buddy of mine from Tekken Zaibatsu (one of the UK's top Ling players no less - he also plays a lot of 2d fighters too) what you wrote and he thought you were actually joking because he didn't think someone could be as close-minded, misinformed and downright dim as you.

Don't bother coming back to akumacombos, and if I were you, i'd seriously think about how you post on this forum also since I know for a fact several members here can't stand you either.

Anyway, i'm officially done with this situation now and hopefully I won't have to post about it anymore.

I know that there are fundemental things that I'm missing and I didn't get to learn them, since I haven't played really since that vid and didn't realize that there were still alot of people interested in the game. So besides the missing out, I"m over all rusty, as Snakesolid showed me by mopping the floor with me everytime. lol But at least now I have a reason top get back into it.

If P110q wasn't being such a little pregnant dog and would learn how to read and understand written things, instead of being in love with his own words and trying to suck up to u and give u an e-blowjob (no offense Van ;D and lots of offense to u P100q ), this wouldn't even be an issue and there wouldn't be such an eye sore of a thread.
